Current Measuring certificates from EA, Royal Shows and SHC are accepted in SA for RPSB Ltd run shows.
ESA are running a measuring day on 14th March at Metro from 10 am till 12pm.

Wilkie and Baucher bits are not to be used for Leading Rein and First Ridden Classes.
A Riding Pony Newcomer is now eligible to compete in open Riding Pony ridden classes in their Newcomer Year in every State except Victoria where their State rules apply. Any pony that has entered their Newcomer competition under their State rules is eligible to compete in the National Newcomer event.
A pony that has only competed in Leading Rein and has not competed off the lead is eligible to be considered a Newcomer.
All Newcomer Rules are now State specific; competitors and ponies must abide by the rules applicable to the State in which they are competing. South Australia’s newcomer year commences 1st February 2010 concluding 31st January. The card colour for 2010 is white.
Entry fee $44.00 [Incl. GST] Late Fee $66.00 {Incl GST] applies after 31/09/2010. Incorrect and/or incomplete entries will be returned. Please allow a two week turnaround for all entries.
In any one show season a pony 4 years and over may be exhibited at Riding Pony Stud Book Society Ltd Shows as either a Show Pony or a Show Hunter Pony, but not as both. Youngstock ponies will be 3 years and under.youngstock ponies only may change once per State Show Season from Show Pony to Show Hunter or Show Hunter to Show Pony.
Show season dates for South Australia commences 1st July concluding 30th June, please note this is State specific.
The National Show program is on the National website. This Show is to be held at the Werribee Equestrian Centre Victoria on the 14th February 2010.
The Welsh Society is holding a Foal show on May 2nd and the ESA are holding one on May 9th at Nt EQ Centre. Both have RP classes. Schedules available soon. The Riding Pony society are looking to also run a Foal show on the 16th May – venue etc still to be confirmed.
With 3 Foal Shows on following weekends why not get your foals in and start their show career early!

The School and Seminar to be held 13/14th Jan has had to be cancelled due to Mark Kiddle judging the Competitors Australia Day Show. We hope to be able to hold a school later in the year.
